Kyra Minturn
Kyraminturn Sedgwick was born August 19, 1965. She is an American producer and actress. Her starring role on TNT's crime drama The Closer as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson is her most famous. Sedgwick earned a Golden Globe Award in 2007 for her performance as Johnson and also an Emmy Award 2010 for her portrayal. The show ended on the 13, 2012, following the conclusion of the seventh season. Sedgwick is also famous for her role in the show in the role of Madeline Wuntch, on the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Sedgwick got an Golden Globe nomination for her performance as Madeline Wuntch in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's film roles include Oliver Stone's Born in July (1989) as well as Cameron Crowe's Individuals (1992), Heart and Souls (1993), Phenomenon (1996) and What's Cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003).
